About SunShik

Engineers of everyday solar power

We are a home solar company built by engineers and installers who believe clean energy should be simple to own, easy to understand and dependable for decades.

Our story

Started on a Rooftop, Built on Trust

SunShik began with a simple frustration: homeowners were being sold oversized systems, unfamiliar brands and vague warranties, then left alone the moment the installer drove away. Our founders — an electrical engineer and a senior installer — decided to do it differently.

We started with a handful of rooftop projects and a promise to treat every home as if it were our own. That meant honest sizing based on real consumption, hardware we would put on our own roofs, tidy workmanship and a phone number that keeps working after handover.

Today our team covers the complete journey — energy assessment, engineering design, supply, installation, net-metering documentation and long-term maintenance. The promise has not changed.

What drives us

Mission, Vision & Values

01 — MISSION

Make solar the obvious choice

To help every household generate its own clean electricity with a system that is correctly sized, professionally installed and supported for its entire life.

02 — VISION

Homes that power themselves

A future where rooftops quietly produce most of the energy a family uses, where outages are a minor inconvenience and electricity bills no longer cause stress.

03 — VALUES

Clarity, craft and care

We explain before we sell, we engineer before we install and we stay in touch after we finish. Every decision is documented, every cable is labelled and every promise is written down.

How we work

A Process You Can Follow at Every Step

Going solar should never feel like a leap of faith. Our approach is built on clear checkpoints, so you always know what is happening on your roof and why.

Standards we keep

Quality You Can See — and the Parts You Can't

Most of what makes a solar system last is hidden: the strength of the mounting, the size of the cables, the quality of every connection. We hold ourselves to the same standard on the parts nobody sees.

Structural checks

Every roof is assessed for load, waterproofing and wind exposure before we drill a single hole.

Correct protection

DC isolators, surge protection, breakers and proper earthing are standard on every installation.

Labelled & documented

Cables, breakers and isolators are labelled, and you receive a full handover file with drawings.

Safe work practice

Harnesses, insulated tools and site cleanliness are non-negotiable for our crews.

Questions About Working With Us

A few things homeowners usually ask before they choose an installer. For technical questions, our full FAQ goes much deeper.

No. Every SunShik installation is carried out by our own trained crew under the supervision of a site engineer. This keeps quality consistent and means the people who installed your system are the same people who service it.

We work with tier-1 panel manufacturers and established inverter brands with local warranty support. Your proposal names the exact make and model of every major component, so you can research them yourself before deciding.

Yes. We prepare the technical documents, single-line diagram and application forms needed for net metering and guide you through the inspection steps with your electricity distribution company.

Call or email us. Most issues can be diagnosed remotely through the monitoring app, and if a visit is needed our service team typically responds within one working day.
