Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://sunshik.com (the “Website”) and the solar design, supply, installation and maintenance services provided by SunShik (“SunShik”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Website or accepting a quotation, you agree to these Terms. Project-specific terms in a signed quotation or agreement take precedence where they differ.

1. Use of the Website

• You may use the Website for lawful, personal and informational purposes only.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems.
• Content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos and layouts — belongs to SunShik or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without written permission.

2. Information and Estimates

Information on the Website, including descriptions of system types, typical sizes and timelines, is general guidance. Generation, savings and payback figures in proposals are estimates based on the information available at the time, typical weather data and current tariffs. Actual results depend on weather, shading, usage patterns, tariff changes and equipment performance, and are not guaranteed.

3. Quotations

• Quotations are valid for the period stated on them, usually 15 days, because equipment prices and availability change.
• A quotation becomes binding once you accept it in writing and pay any required advance.
• The quotation lists the equipment, scope of work, timeline and payment schedule for your project.

4. Site Survey and Customer Responsibilities

• You agree to provide safe access to the roof, electrical board and installation areas at agreed times.
• You confirm that you own the property or have the owner’s permission for the installation.
• You will tell us about any known structural issues, leaks, hidden pipes or cables, or restrictions that may affect the work.
• Where building permissions, landlord consent or utility approvals are required, you are responsible for obtaining them, with our documentation support where agreed.

5. Installation

We will carry out work with reasonable skill and care, following good industry practice and applicable safety standards. Timelines are estimates and may change because of weather, equipment delivery, access, safety concerns or approval delays. We will keep you informed of any change.

6. Payment

• Payments are due according to the schedule in your quotation, typically an advance on acceptance, a payment on equipment delivery and the balance on commissioning.
• Ownership of equipment passes to you once full payment has been received.
• We may pause work if agreed payments are overdue.

7. Warranties

Solar panels, inverters, batteries and other components are covered by their manufacturers’ warranties, the terms of which are provided at handover. SunShik provides a separate written workmanship warranty covering installation defects for the period stated in your agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification or repair, accidents, extreme weather events, pests, power-surge events beyond protection ratings, or lack of reasonable maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SunShik is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, savings or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Cancellation

Cancellations and refunds are handled according to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to new quotations from its effective date. This version is effective from 1 October 2026.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at SunShik’s registered place of business. Both parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith through discussion before taking formal action.
